Camille and Damon’s vow renewal ceremony was at the beautiful Old Trinity Chapel in the Paseo arts district in Oklahoma City, managed by the lovely wedding planners Sara and Amy of Simply Sisters. The reception was held at Cafe do Brasil event center. What a beautiful way to celebrate a marriage, and to announce that a little one is on the way! Congratulations Camille and Damon, best of luck to your growing family!

One of my photographs was featured in the Fred Jones building photo contest that was displayed this year at OVAC’s annual fundraiser, 12×12. There was a lot of cool art to be seen at this event, and it came off the walls so quickly! Congrats to OVAC for putting on another really awesome event.

I took a trip to Oklahoma City today to photograph the Fred Jones Industries building for OVAC’s upcoming 12×12 show and meet with those talented guys over at the Foundry Collective about the new site they are developing for me – and in their new office/studio space (which is amazing, if you haven’t seen it). A trip to Coffee Slingers is very near mandatory for me every time I go to OKC, and today I got to witness a really cool moment on Broadway. In the course of events I met some great women who do amazing work supporting the arts in our community, as well as some gentlemen who do very nice work on signage. (Did I mention I’m fascinated by large machinery?) Congrats to Allied Arts OKC on their new sign!

It was so nice to hear Hil’s sweet voice again, singing songs that for me always bring back memories of our front porch and backyard in the early days of the Pleasantry. She released her first album, Unbutton Your Heart, at the Speakeasy in Oklahoma City last Friday, to a packed house of devoted listeners. I am so proud of her for the work she’s crafted over the last two years. She will be touring the east coast with Peninsula until sometime in April, but in the meantime you can check out her tunes on her website.
