More analog stuff from Jasmine and Robbie’s wedding, these from the post-wedding hang out time in Tulsa proper…

I have had a bag full of 35mm film in my freezer for as long as I can remember shooting film. These days, that bag includes many rolls of film near or past their expiration date, given to me by several friends and family members who thought I might be able to put them to some use. Sometimes, it just seems like the right moment to gamble. Never know what’s going to happen with old film, but I almost always like it, even when it’s kind of gritty…

Perhaps my favorite feature of that little toy camera I have, you can wind the film forwards and backwards to make multiple exposures…

It has taken me several months and a pretty serious dedication of resources, but I’ve finally figured out how to get my analog work digitized to my liking. (For making this possible, shout outs to the OKC public library, lomography‘s neat little tool the “DigitaLIZA,” the art school at OU, and the folks over at Blue 7 for selling me a Sprocket Rocket and inspiring me to start shooting film again.) It takes patience and precision but with the right tools, anything is possible… can’t wait to show you all the rest of my archives, there is a lot more to come!
