News and other new stuff| news, portraits
Aside from giving context to pictures, I don’t normally write too much on this blog, but I thought the first day of 2012 would a good opportunity to talk about some of the major changes that have been developing in my creative life that will take effect this year. Recently, I made the decision to stop taking wedding and portrait clients. Much as I love doing that work, I have a number of personal projects that have been on the back burner for way too long, and this change will free up the time and energy I need to bring those new things into the world. You’ll hear more about these projects of mine as they develop over the next few months.
But in the meantime, I have a lot of little captures that have gotten lost in the shuffle along the way, so I’m going to dedicate a fair amount of my new-found free time to unearthing some of these for you. We’ll see what kind of crazy images have been hiding out on my hard drives soon enough, but for now enjoy a few shots from one of my new favorite toys, my cameraphone.
Here’s to 2012, hope you’re ready for it – I know I am.
